Google Calendar for Zoho Projects

The Google Calendar extension for Zoho Projects lets you create events in Zoho Projects and sync them with your Google Calendar. You can now schedule, edit, or delete events in Google Calendar from Zoho Projects. This extension also lets you set reminders to notify owners about upcoming events.

Installing the extension

To install from Zoho Projects:

  1. Navigate to  > Marketplace > All.
  2. Search for Google Calendar for Zoho Projects, and tap on it.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Agree to the terms of service, and click Install.
  5. Under the General section, select the profiles, projects, and users you want the extension to be shared with or given access to.


  1. Agree to the terms of use.
  2. Click Install Extension.
  3. Under the Connections section, click Authorize. Sign in with your Google account credentials.


Accessing the extension

To access the extension from the top band:

  1. Click the Extensions icon () on the top band.
  2. The Google Calendar widget will be displayed on the right panel. Click on it.
  3. Click Select a Calendar to choose among your Google calendars from within Zoho Projects. You can set your default calendar here.


  1. The Create Event tab lists all the events associated with the chosen calendar. You can choose to show events for TodayWeekMonth, or Year.

Creating an event

  1. Click + icon adjacent to Events tab.
  2. Enter Title, Date, Time, Location, and Attendee details. Title and Date are mandatory.


  1. Choose Yes or No for Event Reminder. If yes, pick the notification timing from the slots.
  2. Add the Link and Description, and click Save.

View, Edit, or Delete events

  1. Click the Events tab. All the events associated with the account will be listed.
  2. Hover over the event. Icons to edit and delete will pop up.


  1. Click the (  ) icon to edit an event.
  2. Upon clicking the icon, you will be redirected to Google Calendar to edit your event.
  3. Click the (  ) icon to delete an event. A confirmation window will pop up before deleting.
  4. Click Delete.

To access the extension from the task activities tab:

  1. Open the desired project and the task.
  2. Click Google Calendar in the activities tab.
  3. All the calendars associated with the Google account will be displayed. You can set your default calendar here.
  4. The events associated with the chosen calendar will be shown.
  5. Use the Add Event button in the top-right corner to add new events.


Note: Only the events associated with the particular task from the chosen calendar will be displayed.

Creating an event

  1. Choose a calendar from the left panel of the widget page.
  2. Click the Add Event button in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter TitleDateTimeLocation, and Attendee details. Title and Date are mandatory.


  1. Choose Yes or No for Event Reminder. If yes, pick the notification timing from the slots.
  2. Add the Description, and click Save.

Edit or delete events

  1. Hover over the event. Icons to edit and delete will pop up.
  2. Click the (  ) icon to edit an event.
  3. On clicking the icon, you will be redirected to Google Calendar to edit your event.
  4. Click the (  ) icon to delete an event. A confirmation window will pop up before deleting.
  5. Click Delete.

Note: All the changes made to events will be updated in Google Calendar.

Uninstalling the extension

To uninstall the Google Calendar extension:

  1. Navigate to  > Marketplace > All.
  2. Click Installed.
  3. Click Google Calendar for Zoho Projects.
  4. Click Uninstall.
